The Third Penn-Ohio Lineman’s Rodeo will be held this July 12 at the Greenville Municipal Airport, in Greenville, PA. This year’s event is open to Apprentice and Journeyman Power Lineman. Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 places in both the Apprentice and Journeyman classes. The first place Journeyman team will take home the Penn-Ohio Trophy, currently residing at Guensey-Muskingham REC in New Concord Ohio. The prizes will be awarded at a picnic after the completion of the events on Saturday.

The entry fee is $75 per Apprentice while the 3 man Journeyman teams (2 climbers and a groundman) will be $250. For an entry form, please e-mail or call Rod Paul at 724-967-1503.

On July 11, beginning at 12:00 in conjunction with early registrations, there will be a series of Safety Seminars and a Vendor Display. The topics scheduled to be discussed include Grounding, Personal Fall Protection for Lineman, Lifting Safety, and the Care of Hot Sticks

Breakfast and Lunch will be available for a nominal fee, while the Barbeque and Awards Presentation will be included in the entry fee for the contestants.
